Our Philosophy

Our centre´s aim is to create an environment for the children to feel safe and happy. We believe our role is to build self-esteem, independence and learn appropriate social skills. We also believe time at the centre is to play and have fun.

We aim to encourage the children in all developmental areas which consist of social, emotional, fine motor, gross motor, language, artist and cognitive with a variety of stimulating activities. The children will hear talking, laughter, singing and stories. They will touch sand, natural materials, play dough and wooden toys. They will be able to smell cooking, flowers, rain and outdoor plants. They will be able to see happy faces, children sharing, dramatic play and painting.

Each child will be treated with respect and treated as an individual. This will be demonstrated by our anti-bias policy and respecting their religious and cultural beliefs.

We aim to encourage parent participation in our centre, through daily conversations with staff, our suggestion box and programming input and parent meetings as required. We believe that staff families should communicate on a daily basis to enhance the children´s learning and rapport with caregivers. The centre aims for the children to grow into independent, socially skilled and competent people.
